God is Not Religious.
"And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it [heaven]."
Revelation 21:22
There are no churches or religion in heaven because there is no need of religion when you know God. Can you know God NOW, here? Is God the same always and is God infinite?
"What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us."
1 Cor 2:12
"If any man shall do his will, he shall know the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of it myself." John 7:17
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- His good, pleasing and perfect will."
Romans 12:2
"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. 1 John 2:16-17
Could our religion be part of the pride of life?
"You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about me; and you are unwilling to come to me so that you may have life. I do not receive glory from men." John 5:39-41
"Be still and know that I am God;"

The only avenue to God's grace and peace is one-way directly FROM God. God is the Truth of Life. "Pray" means leaving the world at the door and listening to God.
We must careful not to worship our religion(s) while failing to turn away from the ENTIRE world, for the world is the father of lies (satan). Christ's truth is not religion but the truth available to anyone who will seek the truth that is not in the world but which passeth understanding. You can be in the world without being "of it."
